The membership process is highly selective, requiring recommendations from two existing members, a comprehensive self-assessment using the Security Incident Management Maturity Model, and an on-site evaluation by the recommenders. These steps culminate in a final review by FIRST, ensuring that applicants demonstrate both advanced technical proficiency and mature internal cybersecurity policies. Under the leadership of CISO Mr. Tsai Yi-Lang, Lydsec’s security and product teams successfully navigated this stringent process, earning recognition for their outstanding capabilities in cybersecurity governance.
