Lydsec Digital Technology Joins Prestigious FIRST Organization, Strengthening Global Cybersecurity Collaboration

Lydsec Digital Technology announced its acceptance as an official member of the Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST) following a rigorous review process.

Lydsec Digital Technology (d.b.a. Keypasco) (‘Lydsec’, Taipei Exchange stock code: 7834), a leading provider of online identity authentication security solutions, today announced its acceptance as an official member of the Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST) following a rigorous review process. This milestone underscores Lydsec’s advanced technical expertise in cybersecurity incident response and threat intelligence sharing, while reaffirming its proactive commitment to product security and strengthening the global cybersecurity defense ecosystem.

Established in 1990, FIRST is the world’s leading international organization dedicated to cybersecurity incident response and threat intelligence sharing. It unites Computer Security Incident Response Teams (CSIRTs) from leading global enterprises, government agencies, academic institutions, and research organizations to collaboratively address evolving cyber threats. With over 810 member organizations across more than 110 countries, FIRST serves as a vital platform for real-time sharing of threat intelligence and defense strategies, playing a critical role in safeguarding global digital infrastructure.

Lydsec’s CISO Mr. Tsai Yi-Lang successfully led the team through the rigorous application process of FIRST

Currently, only about 25 Taiwanese companies, primarily large manufacturers and conglomerates, are members of FIRST. The membership process is highly selective, requiring recommendations from two existing members, a comprehensive self-assessment using the Security Incident Management Maturity Model, and an on-site evaluation by the recommenders. These steps culminate in a final review by FIRST, ensuring that applicants demonstrate both advanced technical proficiency and mature internal cybersecurity policies. Under the leadership of CISO Mr. Tsai Yi-Lang, Lydsec’s security and product teams successfully navigated this stringent process, earning recognition for their outstanding capabilities in cybersecurity governance.

Lydsec delivers a comprehensive suite of online identity authentication solutions powered by proprietary, patented technology. Its flagship Keypasco product line encompasses Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and FIDO passwordless authentication, all designed to balance user privacy, operational convenience, and robust security. These solutions meet the stringent security demands of sectors such as finance, government, and critical infrastructure, and are engineered to effectively address a wide range of cybersecurity challenges.

Leveraging its core technology and R&D expertise, Lydsec is now among the select Taiwanese cybersecurity firms to achieve this prestigious international recognition. FIRST membership will further elevate Lydsec’s global reputation and brand trust, reinforce confidence in its product security, and strengthen its competitive position in the market. Additionally, it provides timely access to the latest global threat intelligence, fosters expanded collaboration with international partners, and opens new opportunities for both domestic and international cybersecurity projects.

“Becoming an official member of FIRST marks a significant milestone for Lydsec as we advance onto the global cybersecurity stage,” said Mr. Lin Cheng-I, Chairman of Lydsec Digital Technology. “We remain committed to safeguarding our customers’ digital assets with professionalism and innovation, and to representing Taiwan’s cybersecurity industry worldwide.”
